What you type into the calculators
The numbers you enter stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored.
Visit counts
To learn which pages are useful, each page view sends us four things: the page address (for example /electricity-rates/ohio/), whether you used a calculator on it, a broad category for how you arrived (search engine, AI assistant, social site, another website, a link on this site, or directly), and whether the browser is automated. We add these up into daily totals.
We do not store your IP address, browser details, the exact page you came from, or anything else that could identify you, and we do not use cookies or local storage, so there is nothing to consent to and nothing that follows you between visits or sites.
Advertising and other services
This site currently has no advertising and no third-party scripts. If that changes, this page will say so first. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver the pages.
